Responsibilities
- Patrol & Monitoring: Conduct regular patrols of the facility and grounds to deter unauthorized activity and ensure a secure environment.
- Access Control: Verify credentials and manage visitor logs at all entry points, ensuring strict adherence to security protocols.
- Emergency Response: Respond swiftly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, and security breaches, coordinating with local law enforcement when necessary.
- Incident Reporting: Prepare detailed, accurate incident reports and logs after every shift or event, maintaining high standards of documentation.
- Customer Service: Assist visitors and employees with directions and inquiries, maintaining a professional and welcoming demeanor.
- Facility Maintenance: Monitor and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards within the facility to the facilities management team.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military, or facilities management is preferred but not always required.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating or set schedule.
- Background Check: Must successfully pass a thorough background investigation, including fingerprinting and criminal history check.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk long distances, and lift up to 25 lbs. Good vision and hearing are required.
- License: Valid Driver's License is required.
