Responsibilities
- Conduct routine patrols and security checks of federal facilities and surrounding perimeters.
- Respond to emergencies, alarms, and disturbances to ensure the safety of personnel and visitors.
- Enforce federal laws, regulations, and agency policies to maintain order and security.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and documentation following all regulatory guidelines.
- Monitor access control points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies and other federal partners during joint operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to federal employees, visitors, and the general public.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Possession of a valid Driverβs License is mandatory.
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background investigation and drug screening.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position, including standing, walking, and lifting moderate weights.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Previous experience in law enforcement, security, or the military is preferred but not always required.
