Responsibilities
- Conduct nightly patrols and surveillance of federal facilities in Miami-Dade County
- Monitor CCTV systems and respond to security alerts within 5 minutes
- Enforce federal access control procedures and credential verification
- Document security incidents using DHS-authorized reporting systems
- Collaborate with federal law enforcement agencies during emergency protocols
- Conduct routine vulnerability assessments of physical security measures
- Maintain strict compliance with Homeland Security directives
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years of security/law enforcement experience
- Valid Florida Class D Security Officer License
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7PM-7AM) with rotating weekends
- Proficient in CCTV operation and access control systems
- Strong written communication skills for incident reporting
- Ability to pass federal background investigation and polygraph
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
