Responsibilities
- Conduct nightly security patrols and surveillance of federal facilities
- Monitor access control systems and CCTV for suspicious activity
- Respond to emergency incidents and security breaches per protocol
- Prepare detailed security incident reports and documentation
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical incidents
- Enforce federal security regulations and visitor screening procedures
- Maintain communication with overnight operations command center
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean record
- Proficiency with surveillance systems and access control software
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong written communication and report-writing skills
- Emergency response certification (CPR/First Aid preferred)
- Must pass background investigation and drug screening
