Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the government facility grounds and building interiors on foot and via vehicle.
- Monitor access control points, verifying credentials and logging visitor information in compliance with government protocols.
- Respond immediately to alarms, fire safety alerts, and emergency situations according to established emergency response plans.
- Prepare and submit accurate, detailed incident reports and activity logs at the end of each shift.
- Enforce all company policies, government regulations, and local laws to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Assist in the coordination of emergency drills and security awareness training for facility personnel.
- Identify potential security vulnerabilities and communicate them to the Site Supervisor or Government Point of Contact.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Driverβs License and a clean driving record are mandatory.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is strongly preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (if required by the specific contract).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods and perform light physical duties.
