Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and patrol federal facilities during overnight hours
- Conduct access control screenings and verify credentials for personnel/visitors
- Respond promptly to security incidents and emergency protocols
- Prepare detailed security incident reports and shift documentation
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive security information
- Operate advanced security equipment and communication systems
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years security/law enforcement experience or equivalent military service
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight shifts
- Strong observational skills and crisis management abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and security software systems
- Must pass background investigation and physical fitness assessment
- Availability to work flexible schedules including weekends/holidays
