Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive security inspections and access control at federal facilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security incidents per federal protocols
- Maintain detailed security logs and incident reports in DHS systems
- Collaborate with federal law enforcement agencies during emergency situations
- Enforce federal security regulations and conduct routine patrols
- Operate advanced security technology including biometric scanners and alarm systems
- Participate in quarterly emergency response training and drills
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance (required)
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience (preferred)
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean record
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and security management software
- Ability to work weekends and holidays with rotating shifts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
