Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive security patrols and surveillance of federal facilities
- Monitor access control systems and verify credentials for personnel/visitors
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies following federal protocols
- Operate advanced security systems including CCTV, alarms, and biometric scanners
- Prepare detailed incident reports and security documentation
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during joint operations
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend security enhancements
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Valid Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain government-required certifications
- Physical fitness to stand/walk for extended periods and climb stairs
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and security software systems
- Availability to work weekends and federal holidays
