Responsibilities
- Conduct weekend security patrols and access control at federal facilities in Virginia Beach
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security incidents 24/7
- Enforce federal security regulations and conduct routine inspections
- Prepare detailed incident reports and security documentation
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during emergency situations
- Operate advanced security technology including X-ray machines and metal detectors
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive federal information
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday) and occasional holidays
- Basic computer proficiency with MS Office applications
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours and lift up to 25 lbs
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
