Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols and surveillance of federal facilities using advanced security systems
- Monitor access control points and verify credentials for personnel and visitors
- Respond promptly to security breaches, alarms, and emergency situations
- Maintain detailed incident reports and security logs in compliance with federal protocols
- Operate CCTV systems and access control technology to ensure facility integrity
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical incidents
- Enforce federal security regulations and conduct threat assessments
Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance (Top Secret preferred)
- Minimum 3 years security or law enforcement experience
- Valid DC Security Guard License (Class A)
- Proficiency with CCTV systems and access control software
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong observational skills and crisis response capabilities
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass federal background investigation
- High school diploma; associate's degree in criminal justice preferred
