Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive security inspections and patrols of federal facilities during weekend shifts
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security incidents in real-time
- Enforce federal regulations and security protocols at the port of entry
- Prepare detailed incident reports and security documentation
- Collaborate with federal agents and local law enforcement during joint operations
- Operate specialized security equipment (X-ray scanners, biometric systems)
- Provide visitor screening and access control for high-security areas
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays
- Pass physical fitness assessment and background investigation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and security software systems
