Responsibilities
- Conduct Comprehensive Data Analysis: Gather, interpret, and analyze complex datasets to inform state policy decisions and budget allocations.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for local municipalities and federal agencies, facilitating the exchange of critical information.
- Policy Implementation: Assist in the development and execution of state-level initiatives, ensuring compliance with all federal and local regulations.
- Project Management: Oversee multiple concurrent projects, managing timelines, resources, and deliverables within strict government deadlines.
- Regulatory Compliance: Monitor changes in federal and state legislation to ensure our programs remain compliant and up-to-date.
- Report Generation: Create detailed reports and presentations for executive leadership to highlight key performance indicators and project progress.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in government operations, public policy, or a related sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with government grant management systems.
- Certifications: PMP, CAPM, or similar project management certifications are a strong plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical data for non-technical audiences.
- Location: Must be willing to work in Springfield, IL or hybrid.
