In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate management of federal and state documentation, ensuring compliance with strict privacy regulations. You will work in a dynamic environment supporting critical public safety initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage and organize high-volume incoming federal and state correspondence with strict attention to detail.
- Process and audit weekly payroll and timekeeping records for agency staff.
- Assist in the coordination of inter-agency meetings and community outreach programs.
- Ensure full compliance with FOIA requests, HIPAA regulations, and data protection protocols.
- Maintain and update the department's central digital database systems and physical archives.
- Provide exceptional customer service to the public regarding permits, licensing, and government services.
- Prepare reports and summaries for senior management regarding administrative metrics.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Public Administration or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in an administrative or government setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and government database software (e.g., Adobe Document Services).
- Strong ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary government security clearances.
