Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot complex network infrastructure and telecommunications systems.
- Provide advanced technical support and guidance to remote federal employees and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor network performance and security to ensure 99.9% uptime and compliance with federal standards.
- Install, configure, and maintain Voice over IP (VoIP) hardware, software, and handsets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new communication technologies and upgrades.
- Document technical procedures, incident reports, and change logs accurately.
- Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery planning.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in telecommunications or network support within a government or enterprise environment.
- Strong experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar enterprise networking equipment.
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, VoIP, VPN, and remote access technologies.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid State of Arizona driver's license.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Familiarity with ITIL framework is a plus.
