Responsibilities
- Requirements Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of business requirements and translate them into robust technical specifications.
- System Design: Design, develop, and implement scalable software solutions and system architecture.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure all systems adhere to state and federal cybersecurity standards and regulations.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior analysts and provide technical guidance to cross-functional project teams.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement long-term fixes to improve system stability.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation, including system flows, API integrations, and architectural diagrams.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, software development, or IT consulting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or .NET; experience with SQL and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Certifications: ITIL, PMP, or CISSP certification is a plus.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse audiences.
- Government Experience: Prior experience working in a state or federal government environment is highly preferred.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting abilities under pressure.
