Responsibilities
- Coordinate comprehensive healthcare services and benefits for veteran patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans
- Ensure compliance with federal healthcare regulations (VA, HIPAA, CMS)
- Conduct eligibility assessments and assist with claims processing
- Provide crisis intervention and psychosocial support to veterans
- Train staff on veteran-specific healthcare protocols
- Generate reports on veteran outcomes and program effectiveness
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Social Work, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in healthcare or veteran services
- Familiarity with VA healthcare systems and federal regulations
- Strong interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance
- Certification in Veteran Services preferred (e.g., VSR, ACVE)
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
