Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care and administrative support during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun)
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless continuity of care
- Process veteran benefits applications and documentation with federal compliance standards
- Conduct weekend facility security assessments and emergency response protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records using VA-specific systems
- Lead weekend staff training and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required (federal position)
- Minimum 2 years healthcare or federal administrative experience
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Proficiency in VA VistEHR and Microsoft Office Suite
- Weekend availability mandatory (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
- Valid California driver's license
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
