Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service to veterans and their families during weekend hours
- Process and maintain confidential veteran records with meticulous attention to detail
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless service continuity
- Utilize federal systems (VA VISTA, CPRS) for data entry and case management
- Conduct eligibility screenings and benefit application assistance
- Prepare comprehensive documentation following federal compliance standards
- Respond to after-hours inquiries with professionalism and empathy
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship (mandatory for federal employment)
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years customer service or administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and federal record-keeping systems
- Ability to work flexible weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Knowledge of veteran affairs programs and benefits highly desirable
- Pass federal background investigation and security clearance
