Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security alerts during weekend shifts to ensure continuous protection of federal facilities
- Conduct routine inspections and compliance checks following federal protocols
- Coordinate with weekend response teams for emergency incidents and security breaches
- Document all activities, incidents, and communications using federal reporting systems
- Participate in weekend training exercises to maintain operational readiness
- Collaborate with weekday counterparts to ensure seamless handover of critical information
- Adhere to all DHS policies, procedures, and security clearance requirements
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Ability to work weekends and flexible hours as needed
- Valid state driver's license and ability to obtain federal security clearance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and federal database systems
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or federal operations preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree highly desirable
- Ability to pass background investigation and drug screening
