Responsibilities
- Process veteran benefit applications and claims during weekend shifts
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone and in-person consultations
- Maintain accurate documentation in federal systems (e.g., VBMS, VBA)
- Coordinate with federal agencies for cross-departmental case resolution
- Conduct weekend eligibility screenings for VA programs
- Support emergency veteran services during off-hours
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and federal background clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field
- 2+ years federal or veteran services experience
- Proficiency in VA systems and federal compliance protocols
- Valid Georgia driver's license (position requires occasional travel)
- Ability to work flexible weekend shifts (Sat-Sun, 6AM-2PM)
- VA Form 10-2850 application submission
