Responsibilities
- Provide direct veteran support services during weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
- Process federal benefit applications with 99% accuracy
- Coordinate with multi-agency partners for seamless veteran care
- Document all interactions using VA-specific case management systems
- Conduct eligibility screenings for federal programs
- Respond to veteran inquiries with empathy and professionalism
- Participate in weekend on-call rotations as needed
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 2 years federal/government experience
- Proficient in VA VISTA and CMS systems
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Experience working with veteran populations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
