Responsibilities
- Process veteran benefit applications with 99.5% accuracy
- Manage weekend shift operations (Sat/Sun 6am-2pm)
- Coordinate with remote teams via secure federal systems
- Handle confidential veteran data under HIPAA/PII protocols
- Resolve benefit inquiries through VA call centers
- Participate in monthly compliance training
- Support disaster response readiness initiatives
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- GS-5 level federal pay scale eligibility
- 2+ years customer service experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
- Experience with federal systems (e.g., VBA, VETS)
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Availability for weekend shifts including holidays
