Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and administrative support during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun)
- Coordinate with on-call physicians and emergency response teams
- Maintain accurate electronic health records using VistE system
- Conduct weekend patient assessments and medication administration
- Implement infection control protocols and safety procedures
- Collaborate with weekend nursing and support staff
- Respond to urgent patient requests and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
- Minimum 2 years healthcare experience, VA experience preferred
- Current CPR certification and BLS certification
- Proficiency with VA computer systems (VistE, CPRS)
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Valid California driver's license
- U.S. citizenship and federal background clearance
- Weekend availability mandatory
