Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages along a designated route in a safe and timely manner.
- Sort and process incoming mail and outgoing parcels efficiently.
- Interact professionally and courteously with the public.
- Operate scanning devices and handheld computers to track mail.
- Ensure the security and protection of all mail in your custody.
- Perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying packages up to 70 lbs.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and traffic laws while driving.
Qualifications
- United States citizenship and valid driver's license (or equivalent).
- High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate.
- Pass a medical examination, including a drug test and background check.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor in all weather conditions.
- No disqualifying criminal convictions.
- Willingness to work overtime and flexible hours as needed.
