Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and business addresses along assigned routes
- Sort, organize, and prepare mail for efficient daily delivery
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and adhere to traffic regulations
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining route efficiency
- Collect postage and fees for accountable mail items
- Report delivery issues, maintenance needs, and customer concerns
- Maintain accurate delivery records and complete required paperwork
Qualifications
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and tracking systems
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to walk long distances daily (5-8 hours)
