Role Overview
In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between visionary strategic planning and practical engineering execution. You will be responsible for architecting scalable systems that not only meet current demands but are resilient enough to handle the rapid advancements expected by 2026.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmap Development: Define and execute the long-term technology roadmap for the organization, ensuring alignment with 2026 business goals and industry trends.
- System Architecture Design: Design robust, scalable, and secure cloud-native architectures capable of supporting high-volume, high-velocity data processing.
- AI & Automation Leadership: Oversee the integration of advanced AI models and automation workflows to streamline operations and enhance user experience.
- Vendor & Technology Management: Evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, edge computing, AR/VR) and manage vendor relationships to ensure we stay ahead of the curve.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate complex technical requirements into actionable development plans.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure all architectural decisions adhere to the highest standards of data privacy and cybersecurity compliance.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in software architecture, with a proven track record of leading technical teams.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), microservices architecture, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Future-Forward Thinking: Demonstrated ability to anticipate and adapt to emerging technologies and industry shifts.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior engineers and influence decision-making at the executive level.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical skills with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance optimization.
