Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging domains
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum AI, neural interfaces, and climate-tech
- Secure $5M+ annual innovation grants from federal and private sectors
- Partner with MIT, Stanford, and ETH Zurich for collaborative research
- Launch 3+ industry-disrupting prototypes annually
- Present at Davos, CES, and UN Tech Summits as company ambassador
- Mentor 10-person innovation lab in Austin and Zurich facilities
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field
- 10+ years leading R&D teams in Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Published research in Nature/Science with 500+ citations
- Expertise in at least 2 of: quantum computing, neuromorphic engineering, or carbon-negative tech
- Proven track record of scaling technologies from lab to market
- Active patents in emerging technologies (minimum 5 granted)
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming frameworks
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
