Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D projects in emerging technologies with global impact
- Develop strategic roadmaps for quantum-resistant cryptography and neural augmentation
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify and acquire disruptive startups
- Present tech forecasts at international conferences and policy summits
- Secure $10M+ in government innovation grants and private funding
- Mentor PhD fellows in applied futurism and tech ethics
- Drive patent development for at least 3 breakthrough technologies annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum or AI systems
- Proven track record leading $5M+ R&D initiatives in commercial or academic settings
- Expertise in blockchain architectures and federated learning frameworks
- Deep understanding of ethical AI governance frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
- Fluency in Python, Rust, and quantum programming languages (Q#)
