Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify 2026 market opportunities and competitive threats
- Develop and implement long-term strategic roadmaps aligning tech innovation with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives for next-gen products and services
- Partner with C-suite to secure $50M+ annual innovation budget and resource allocation
- Present future-tech insights to Fortune 500 clients and industry forums
- Build and manage a 15-person specialized innovation lab
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts impacting tech deployment
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, product innovation, or corporate R&D leadership
- Proven track record launching 3+ market-disrupting technologies
- Expertise in AI/ML, blockchain, or sustainable tech ecosystems
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business
- Experience securing $10M+ innovation budgets and managing P&L
- Published thought leadership in tech journals (IEEE, Nature Tech)
- Fluency in scenario planning and futures methodologies
