- Build partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry disruptors
- Present strategic roadmaps to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Manage a $5M+ innovation budget and oversee cross-functional project teams
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis for technological trends
- Create thought leadership content (whitepapers, TED-style talks) to establish industry authority
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough technologies from concept to market
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with strategic planning frameworks (scenario planning, technology readiness levels)
- Strong financial acumen for innovation portfolio management
