Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives in quantum algorithms and next-gen AI systems
- Develop and validate sustainable energy solutions with 95%+ efficiency targets
- Publish 2-3 high-impact papers annually in Nature/Science journals
- Secure $1M+ in annual research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Mentor PhD candidates and junior researchers in emerging tech fields
- Collaborate with policy advisors to shape ethical AI frameworks
- Prototype and test breakthrough technologies in our quantum lab facilities
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or Sustainable Energy Systems (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of research experience with peer-reviewed publications
- Expertise in quantum machine learning frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven track record of securing federal research grants
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and high-performance computing
- Experience with ethical AI governance frameworks (e.g., EU AI Act)
- Strong background in materials science for energy storage systems
