Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives targeting 2026 technology horizons
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government labs
- Architect ethical frameworks for emerging AI and biotech applications
- Present disruptive innovation roadmaps to C-suite and investors
- Manage $5M+ annual innovation budget across 12+ projects
- Author thought leadership publications in Nature and MIT Tech Review
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or Bioengineering (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 3+ at director level
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals (h-index >20)
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF, etc.)
- Fluency in Mandarin and Arabic for global stakeholder engagement
