Innovate Future Inc. is seeking a visionary Future Technologies Strategist to shape our 2026 technology roadmap. As a key architect of our innovation ecosystem, you'll identify disruptive technologies, develop strategic frameworks, and lead cross-functional initiatives to position us at the forefront of emerging trends. This role requires a blend of technical acumen, business strategy, and futurist thinking to transform cutting-edge concepts into market-ready solutions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their commercial applications through 2030
- Develop strategic implementation roadmaps for next-gen technologies in collaboration with R&D and product teams
- Lead innovation workshops and hackathons to foster cross-disciplinary ideation
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and investors
- Monitor competitor strategies and industry disruptors to maintain competitive advantage
- Manage a $5M innovation budget with ROI-focused technology pilots
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators for early-stage technology access
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with 7+ years in technology strategy
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies with measurable impact
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (e.g., AI ethics, quantum applications, sustainable tech)
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and technology forecasting
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex technology transitions
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or futurism (preferred)
