Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps for 2026+ innovations including AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to identify strategic opportunities
- Lead R&D initiatives for experimental technologies with 3-5 year commercialization horizons
- Partner with product teams to translate technical capabilities into market-ready solutions
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions and industry thought leaders
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech product development
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Proven track record of launching innovative products with $50M+ market impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex technological ecosystems
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management capabilities
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
