Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and organizational goals
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, etc.) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives to prototype next-gen solutions
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech innovators
- Present technology forecasts and implementation plans to executive stakeholders
- Drive innovation culture through internal hackathons and tech scouting programs
- Ensure ethical AI deployment and sustainable technology integration
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Expertise in emerging tech: quantum computing, AGI, or biotech integration
- Proven track record of launching commercialized futuristic technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong financial modeling skills for tech ROI analysis
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies preferred
