Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with emerging market trends and societal needs
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify breakthrough technologies with commercial potential by 2026
- Coordinate interdisciplinary teams of engineers, designers, and futurists to prototype next-gen solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic labs and tech incubators for early-stage technology adoption
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Conduct scenario planning for disruptive technology impacts on industry verticals
- Drive sustainable technology integration across product development lifecycles
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Innovation, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in strategic technology planning or emerging tech roles
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or climate tech
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial products
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in agile or sprint-based environments
- Published thought leadership in technology journals or major industry conferences
