Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze technological, social, and economic trends through 2026 horizon scanning
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for disruptive innovation opportunities
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align strategic initiatives with future market shifts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify blue-sky product and service concepts
- Produce annual Future State Reports with actionable strategic recommendations
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and competitive disruption vectors
- Represent company at futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Innovation, or related field
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, R&D, or corporate innovation roles
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for translating complex futures into compelling narratives
- Experience with futures research methodologies (Delphi, Delbecq, etc.)
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic foresight projects
