Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning for 2026 technology roadmap, identifying disruptive innovations with commercial potential
- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies (quantum, bio-computing, AGI) and assess viability
- Develop implementation frameworks for integrating future tech into enterprise ecosystems
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype breakthrough solutions with 5-10 year market impact
- Establish governance protocols for ethical deployment of transformative technologies
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board members through compelling data narratives
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers to accelerate innovation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record in emerging technology strategy at Fortune 500 scale
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neural interfaces, or decentralized AI
- Published research or patents in future technology domains (2018-2024)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management preferred
