What You'll Do:
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technology landscape
- Develop 5-year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Collaborate with C-suite to integrate future-tech into corporate strategy
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech fusion)
- Build innovation pipelines with measurable ROI projections
- Represent company at global tech summits and thought leadership forums
Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends and market disruptions for 2026-2030 horizon
- Design multi-year innovation frameworks with clear implementation pathways
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify disruptive startups
- Develop patent strategies for future technology domains
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Tech Task Forces' for rapid prototyping
- Create executive briefings on technology disruption scenarios
- Establish KPIs for future-tech adoption and impact measurement
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record in emerging technology commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum, AGI, neurotech, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and futures methodologies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/MBA/PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in technology strategy
- Experience scaling technology roadmaps from concept to reality
