Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in researching and evaluating emerging technologies with 5-10 year impact potential
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Identify and assess strategic partnerships, investments, and M&A opportunities in emerging sectors
- Present technology insights and recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Drive innovation culture through thought leadership, speaking engagements, and industry publications
- Monitor global tech policy developments and their implications for business strategy
- Establish KPIs and frameworks for measuring technology adoption ROI and competitive advantage
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in developing and executing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong business acumen with ability to translate technical concepts into commercial opportunities
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence C-suite and external stakeholders
