Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market predictions and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions in AI ethics and decentralized systems
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum AI, neuromorphic computing) and assess commercial viability
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-readiness frameworks into current development lifecycles
- Represent the company at global tech summits and publish thought leadership on 2026 technology trends
- Manage strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership, with 5+ years focused on emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record of launching at least two commercialized technologies with market impact
- Expertise in at least three of these domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, blockchain, or biotech convergence
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Innovation Management (PhD/MSc preferred)
- Deep understanding of ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation principles
- Certification in technology foresight methodologies (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Technique)
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
