Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy aligned with business objectives
- Lead market research on emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and their commercial applications
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate future-focused innovations into development roadmaps
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and secure buy-in for technology investments
- Establish KPIs to measure the impact of future technology initiatives on business growth
- Build and maintain relationships with technology startups, research institutions, and industry thought leaders
- Conduct scenario planning for technology disruptions and prepare contingency strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product development, or innovation management
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Expertise in at least three emerging technology domains (AI, IoT, blockchain, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience managing technology budgets exceeding $5M annually
- Published thought leadership in technology strategy or innovation journals
