Responsibilities
- Lead multi-year horizon scanning for disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for board-level decision-making
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions (quantum computing, neurotech, climate resilience)
- Conduct ethnographic research on emerging consumer behaviors and workforce dynamics
- Author white papers and thought leadership for industry conferences
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints with design, engineering, and product teams
- Advise executive team on regulatory and ethical implications of emerging tech
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech leadership
- Published research on AI ethics, biotech governance, or sustainable systems
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Proven track record translating foresight into commercial strategy
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on long-term transformation
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
