Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 5-year technology strategy aligned with 2026 market projections and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation initiatives in emerging domains (Web3, AI, biotech, sustainable tech)
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to identify disruptive opportunities
- Build strategic partnerships with research institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Present technology roadmaps and investment recommendations to executive leadership
- Mentor a team of futurists and innovation specialists
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies through pilot programs and thought leadership
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, blockchain, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and trend forecasting methodologies
- Strong network in tech innovation ecosystems (VCs, accelerators, research labs)
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or Business
- Published thought leadership in innovation or future trends
