Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 technology and societal trends
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping, testing, and scaling breakthrough solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning to identify disruptive opportunities
- Partner with C-suite to integrate foresight into corporate strategy and decision-making
- Manage innovation portfolio with rigorous KPIs for impact and ROI
- Drive thought leadership through whitepapers, industry forums, and patent development
- Build and nurture external ecosystem partnerships with startups, academia, and policy makers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futures consulting
- Proven track record of launching commercialized innovations in tech, energy, or healthcare
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, biotech, or sustainable systems
- Certification in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or equivalent advanced degree
- Exceptional analytical and systems thinking with data-driven decision-making
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $5M
- Strong executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-to-market execution
