Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify emerging trends, technologies, and paradigm shifts affecting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop comprehensive future scenario models and strategic frameworks for organizational resilience
- Partner with R&D and product teams to incubate breakthrough innovations aligned with future market needs
- Deliver executive-level strategic briefings and thought leadership presentations to stakeholders
- Design and implement foresight methodologies across the organization
- Build and lead a dedicated futures research team with global influence
- Champion ethical innovation and sustainable growth principles in all strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology forecasting
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight (articles, white papers)
- Deep knowledge of AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing trajectories
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through transformational change
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from the School of International Futures) preferred
