Responsibilities
- Anticipate and synthesize global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate resilience) into strategic foresight frameworks for 2026+ planning
- Architect blue-sprint innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives and societal shifts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into product development and go-to-market strategies
- Develop quantitative/qualitative models to assess future scenarios and risk-mitigation pathways
- Curate thought leadership content (whitepapers, keynotes) positioning Horizon as the 2026 innovation authority
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research labs to accelerate future-ready solutions
- Mentor a team of futurists and innovation specialists to cultivate next-gen foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or equivalent with 8+ years in foresight/strategy roles
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercialized products or services
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep technical fluency in emerging domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neurotech)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to distill complex futures into executive-level narratives
- Experience building and leading global innovation teams in fast-evolving industries
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent practical frameworks
- Portfolio demonstrating published future outlooks or implemented innovation initiatives
