Responsibilities
- Architect multi-year innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026+ technological horizons
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging trends across AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Translate foresight insights into actionable product development strategies
- Champion design thinking workshops with R&D teams to prototype future-state solutions
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for market disruption and competitive positioning
- Present strategic futures to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage relationships with academic institutions and innovation labs
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic innovation or futures research roles
- Proven expertise in emerging technology trend analysis (AI, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Track record of launching at least 3 disruptive products/services
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and foresight frameworks
- Certification in Design Thinking or Innovation Management preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating futures-thinking projects or published research
