Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions to forecast 2026+ industry landscapes
- Develop strategic frameworks that integrate foresight into product roadmaps and business models
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future scenarios and innovation priorities
- Produce high-impact trend reports and scenario-planning documents for executive decision-making
- Identify and cultivate partnerships with startups, research institutions, and thought leaders
- Drive innovation initiatives that position the company as an industry pioneer
- Mentor junior strategists and champion foresight methodologies across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial success
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence C-level executives
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented innovation strategies
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., AC/FS preferred)
