InnovateCorp is seeking a visionary Futurist & Innovation Strategist to lead our efforts in shaping the technological and business landscape for 2026 and beyond. As we stand on the cusp of unprecedented transformation, this role is critical in anticipating emerging trends, developing future-proof strategies, and driving innovation across our global enterprise. You'll work directly with C-suite executives to translate foresight into actionable roadmaps that will redefine our industry.
Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and global megatrends to forecast business impacts through 2026
- Develop and present strategic innovation roadmaps for product development, market expansion, and operational transformation
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into organizational DNA and decision-making processes
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry pioneers to stay ahead of disruption curves
- Quantify future market opportunities and risks through scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Author thought leadership content including whitepapers, trend reports, and executive briefings
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-focused concepts
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, Technology, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused strategies for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in foresight methodologies including horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their business applications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse stakeholders
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFIF) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating published trend reports or strategic frameworks
